Hello, I'm Sarah
and I'm passionate about simplifying health for regional Australians.
In 2017, after 15 years as a registered nurse working across regional Queensland, I became disillusioned - really seeing the disconnect that existed between the disease focus of our health services and the strengths based approach that could truly revolutionalise the way we think, feel and act in relation to our health.
So in 2018, I took action and founded, Thrive Rural, alongside continuing to practice as a nurse, to recognise and build on the incredible strengths of those living and working in Regional Australia.
I love to support regional businesses and communities to learn more about health and optimise their wellbeing (before they are unwell) for themselves, their families and in their local communities.
